Holy Stone Module

Pros: Built in battery, self contained unit, easy to swap between aircraft
Cons: Relatively large, need to remember to turn it on, no betaflight integration
While a self contained module with a built in battery may be a great option for adding remote ID to an older drone like a DJI Mavic, this might not be the best option for a typical FPV pilot. Unlike other modules designed for home built drones, this module is powered from an internal battery. That means you need to remember to charge it and power it on before you fly. This module does not have any integration with betaflight. So you can’t get GPS data to your flight controller for return to home features or displaying GPS coordinates in your OSD.
Unlike some of the other modules, this one does not have any mounting holes for attaching it to your drone. It is intended to be attached via velcro. If used on an FPV drone you may need to find a more secure way of attaching it as it may “eject” on a hard impact.
