Photography Standards

Photography is how one of the major ways that our vision can be seen by those we interact with. The following standards express how images should be treated.

Content

Content for both the website and social media should strive to contain images of pilots, equipment, education, safety, community, and over all reflect the community. Families, friends, and groups all enjoying the hobby. If generating new photographs, use RAW formatting for post processing.

Product

Product images should be shot on a white background with at least two source lighting and shot in RAW format for post processing. Product shots will need to show different angles, sides, etc. so the user can get a complete idea of what it looks like. Real world use photos are also acceptable secondary images.

Apparel

Apparel images should be shot on a white background with at least two source lighting and in RAW format for post processing. Product shots will need to show different angles, sides, etc. so the user can get a complete idea of what it looks like. Both real world use photos, as well as model pictures are acceptable secondary images.
